joined Wilbow Corporation in June 2002 to head the Dallas operations. Prior to joining Wilbow, Mr. Fitzgerald had been active in the explosive growth in Frisco, Texas, where he platted some 1500 lots in several master-planned communities of his own design, including Lakes on Legacy, site of the 1999 Parade of Homes, and thereafter, the top selling luxury neighborhood in Collin County. Mr. Fitzgerald also conceived Heritage Lakes and Griffin Parc while at Blackard Developments. His value to the Wilbow team is derived from his wide knowledge of, and experience with, both production and custom homebuilders. In addition to handling marketing and homebuilders, Mr. Fitzgerald oversaw governmental affairs for his previous development team.
Mr. Fitzgerald's background includes degrees from the University of Illinois in both architecture and landscape architecture, with heavy experience in land planning. He has worked both as an employee to the Irvine Ranch based Koll Companies, as well as an independent consultant to several REITs. He designed the metroplex's first traditional neighborhood development, The Homestead, in Carrollton for Arcadia and wrote the City of Frisco's first TND ordinance for David Weekley Homes. Mr. Fitzgerald also spent seven years in mortgage banking working with many top Dallas real estate brokerage houses. After teaching at the University of Illinois, Chas began his private sector career with HOK Architects. He was soon approached to join The Cambridge Companies, where he expanded their residential operations into Raleigh-Durham.
Altogether, his diversified 22-year background in all aspects of real estate allow him to think outside the box in leading the Wilbow USA team through innovative projects that provide value to their builder customers and market advantage to Wilbow Corporation. |
